Water-Proof Constructional Method

Special Feature of Water-Proof Constructional Method

- In this method, specially-designed fasteners (EW-washers) are fixed on the floor or the walls, a waterproof sheet is placed on the surface of those, and the fasteners and the sheet are bound by Easy Welder.

- The electromagnetic waves coming from the Easy Welder applicator go through the waterproof sheet, and heat the fasteners inside.
The thermoplastic adhesives on the surface of the fasteners are melted instantly (1~3 sec), and the sheet and the fasteners are glued together.

Advantages in Water-Proof Constructional Method

1. Excellent Adhesive Quality.

With basic knowledge, anyone can operate it. Even gluing is performed.

2. Time of Construction has shortened.

Quick, with no need for warm-up, gluing in a few seconds.

3. No leakage after the work.

The EASY WELDER does not have to be warmed up, and the work can be done even in below-freezing or humid conditions.

4. Removable.

Electromagnetic induction heating enables gluing without making a hole in the sheet.

5. Eco-friendly Construction.

Reheating removes the adhesives. It is excellent constructional work to preserve the environment; no oil-based adhesives are used in consideration of the health of workers, and glued materials can be removed without any damage, thus leaving no industrial waste.

Caution in Water-proof Construction

1. Identifying the Surface.

The condition of the surface to be glued on and the floor, the surface gradient, and the wind speed from the outside are factors to be considered when attempting to place the fasteners at proper distances.

2. Selection of the Waterproof Sheet.

The thickness and texture of the sheet should be considered if it is to be exposed to ultraviolet rays or used for a walking path.

3. Use Specific Materials.

This construction requires using special Easy Welder and exclusively designed fasteners.
